    The Canon ZINK photo paper is designed for use with the IVY Mini photo printer. ZINK stands for Zero Ink printing technology. Instead of ink, this technology uses colorful dye-based crystals embedded inside the paper. Before printing, the embedded dye crystals are clear so the ZINK paper looks like regular white photo paper. ZINK-enabled devices use heat to activate and colorize these crystals.
