StaplesAdvantage.com's website (the "Site") belongs to Staples Contract & Commercial, Inc. (together with its affiliated entities, the "Company") is currently provided free-of-charge to users who agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. We reserve the right to change the nature of this relationship at any time, and to revise these guidelines and Terms and Conditions from time to time as we see fit. Users who violate the terms of this Agreement will have their access canceled and they may permanently be banned from using the Site and any interactive services.
Users should check these terms and conditions periodically. By using the Site after we post changes to these Terms and Conditions, you agree to accept those changes, whether or not you actually reviewed them.
Ordering products on the Site will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not order products from the site.
To Sign Up for Staples Advantage Alerts: Access the Notifications tab on your user profile via StaplesAdvantage.com, enter your mobile number and click Subscribe. You will receive a text message from Staples Advantage 655-555 to which you can reply Yes to sign up for order status notifications via text. By providing your phone number and clicking Subscribe, you consent to receive Staples Advantage text messages at the phone number designated for the order statuses that you elect to receive via your Staples Advantage user profile. Texts may be sent via automatic telephone dialing system. Your consent to receive text messages does not mean you are obligated to make a purchase.
To Stop the Programs: To stop messages from Staples Advantage coming to your phone, you can opt out of the program via SMS. To stop our text alerts, just send a text message that says STOP to 655-555. You may also Unsubscribe via the Notifications tab on your Staples Advantage user profile. You will be removed from all Staples Advantage SMS programs after a one-time cancel confirmation text and won’t receive any future messages after that unless you opt back in.
The Staples Advantage Mobile Program is compatible with Alltel, AT&T, Boost, Cellular South, MetroPCS, Midwest Wireless, nTelos, Sprint, Suncom, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Virgin Mobile. To participate, the recipient's phone needs to be text messaging–enabled. We try to make it so everyone can participate, but depending on your carrier, plan and phone, we can't guarantee it will work for you. Wireless Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cost to Participate: Although the Staples Advantage Mobile Programs are complimentary and require no purchase or fee for participation, message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for more details. Subscribers will receive multiple messages per month based on the selections made at the time of sign-up.
Staples Advantage Order Status Alerts: You will only receive text messages for the order status notifications you have elected to receive via your Staples Advantage user profile.
Questions: You can send a text message from your mobile phone with the word HELP to 655-555 at any time, or call us at 877-826-7755. We can answer any questions you have about the program.

To prevent unauthorized changes to someone's Personal Information, we ask individual customers to positively identify themselves before processing such requests.
We reserve the right to charge a small fee to process any request to update, correct or delete Personal Information. We also may decline to process requests that require a disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes).
If we receive a written complaint, it is Staples' policy to contact the complaining customer regarding his or her concerns. We will investigate complaints promptly and diligently to address your concerns and resolve any dispute quickly.
We are also a member of BBBOnLine, the online division of the Better Business Bureau, which offers a privacy dispute resolution program for customers with online privacy complaints involving BBBOnLine privacy program participants. We will strive to resolve any customer service complaints regarding the transfer of Personal Information that cannot be resolved between Staples and the customer promptly in accordance with BBBOnLine procedures.

This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as it is applied to agreements entered into and performed therein, and excluding (i) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; (ii) the 1974 Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of Goods; and (iii) the Protocol amending the 1974 Convention, done at Vienna April 11, 1980. Any action brought to enforce this Agreement or matters related to the Site will be brought in either the State or Federal Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; provided, however, that notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement to the contrary, Company shall have the right to institute judicial proceedings against you or anyone acting by, through or under you, in order to enforce Company's rights hereunder through reformation of contract, specific performance, injunction or similar equitable relief. Any claim or cause of action you have with respect to use of the Site must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim arises. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed void, unlawful, or otherwise unenforceable for any reason, that provision will be severed from this Agreement and the remaining provisions of this Agreement will remain in force. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company concerning your use of the Site, and the Agreement will not be modified, except in writing, signed by both parties.

However, any comments, ideas, notes, messages, suggestions or other communications sent to the Site shall be and remain the exclusive property of Company, and we may use all such communications in any manner, including reproducing, disclosing and publishing such communications, all without compensation to you.
